WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND

A placebo-controlled human trial found that boswellia gum resin improved asthma symptoms and lung-function measurements in more participants than placebo.

WHO, WHAT & HOW LONG

The 1998 double-blind trial included 80 people: 40 received Boswellia gum resin at 300 mg three times daily for six weeks, and 40 received placebo. The study reported overall improvement in 70% versus 27%.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR ROB’S CHOICE

The trial used gum resin at a different amount and composition from Mobility's 100 mg Boswellia at 30% AKBA. It does not establish asthma benefits for the Boswellia and moringa product.

The doses above describe research, not personal dosing instructions. Ingredient studies do not diagnose symptoms or establish medical suitability. Discuss medicines, existing conditions and treatment decisions with an appropriate healthcare professional.
