Muscle soreness and reduced strength after hard exercise
Potential benefit studied: Possible reduction in soreness and faster strength recovery
Supporting researchA placebo-controlled human trial found that boswellia reduced muscle and knee soreness and accelerated the return of leg strength after downhill running.
Fifty recreationally active men received LI51202F1, a standardized Boswellia extract, at 60 mg daily or placebo for 10 days. Supplementation began six days before downhill running and continued during the subsequent recovery period.
The trial's 60 mg extract was a different preparation from Mobility's listed 100 mg Boswellia at 30% AKBA. A larger ingredient amount does not establish equivalent absorption, exercise benefits, or effectiveness alongside moringa.
