Stiff knees and difficulty moving with osteoarthritis
Potential benefit studied: Possible improvement in stiffness and everyday physical function
Positive human evidenceHuman trials found that boswellia extracts reduced osteoarthritis stiffness and improved physical function, including measures of everyday movement.
A 70-person trial tested Aflapin, also called AprèsFlex, at 100 mg daily for 30 days. It contained 20% AKBA. An earlier 60-person trial compared Aflapin, 5-Loxin and placebo for 90 days.
Mobility lists 100 mg Boswellia with 30% AKBA. Matching the amount used for Aflapin does not match its composition or absorption. These studies do not establish benefits for Mobility's combined Boswellia and moringa formula.
