CURCUMIN / INGREDIENT RESEARCH

Concerns about circulation and blood-vessel health

Potential benefit studied: Changes in vessel dilation and vascular measurements

Supporting research

Human vascular-function trials · Reviewed 9 September 2026

WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND

A placebo-controlled human trial found that a bioavailable curcumin formulation improved blood-vessel dilation.

WHO, WHAT & HOW LONG

Thirty-nine adults aged 45–74 received a Longvida curcumin formulation or placebo for 12 weeks, with blood-vessel dilation measured before and after treatment.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR ROB’S CHOICE

Longevity has not been studied for blood-vessel function or cardiovascular outcomes. Different absorption technologies and research populations limit transfer of these findings, and the curcumin amount alone cannot establish suitability for circulation concerns.

The doses above describe research, not personal dosing instructions. Ingredient studies do not diagnose symptoms or establish medical suitability. Discuss medicines, existing conditions and treatment decisions with an appropriate healthcare professional.
