CURCUMIN / INGREDIENT RESEARCH

Developing cancer or precancerous changes

Potential benefit studied: Regression of precancerous lesions and possible cancer prevention

Supporting research

Randomized human trials of precancerous lesions · Reviewed 9 September 2026

This is cancer research, not a product treatment claim. These studies do not establish that Longevity or Mobility prevents, treats or cures cancer.

WHAT THE RESEARCH FOUND

A randomized human trial found that curcumin produced more visible clinical responses in oral precancerous lesions than placebo.

WHO, WHAT & HOW LONG

A trial randomized 223 people with oral leukoplakia to 3.6 g daily curcumin or placebo for six months and measured clinical lesion response.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR ROB’S CHOICE

Neither trial tested Longevity or Mobility, and changes in lesions are not proof of fewer future cancers. These products should not replace recommended screening, surveillance or specialist management of precancerous conditions.

The doses above describe research, not personal dosing instructions. Ingredient studies do not diagnose symptoms or establish medical suitability. Discuss medicines, existing conditions and treatment decisions with an appropriate healthcare professional.
